The Gray Hulk, Rick Jones and Clay Quartermain are traveling in a van but get lost in a snowstorm. The Hulk gets out, leaps and accidentally hits commercial Pan Am 134.

The X-Men were flying the area so Rogue helps the airplane land. Wolverine and the Hulk eventually find Wolverine is not looking for a fight, but the Hulk insists. To his surprise, Wolverine wins the first battle by leaving the Hulk lying down with an open chest. But because of the Hulk's healing factor, the monster stands up again and continues the fight. Clay Quartermain puts an end to it.
