Continued from DEADPOOL ANNUAL #1.
A glimpse of Hell shows us the torments
of recent arrivals Peter Parker (the Amazing Spider who is in a coma)
and Death Mask Wade Wilson. And then there's the Earth-616 Incredible
Hulk, newly arrived as his counterpart the Infernal Hulk has been
released into the parallel Earth. The latter, orange-skinned and
horned, comes to the Sanctum Sanctorum searching for his enemy
Sorcerer Supreme Bruce Banner. 616 Spider-Man, trapped along with his
Deadpool and Bruce Banner, comes to Dr Banner's rescue,; Spidey has Banner
cast a spell on Deadpool to make him look like Banner so that
Infernal Hulk is preoccupied with beating the living daylights out of
his supposed enemy. At Parker Technologies, Spidey introduces the two
Bruce Banners and the one from this world explains how he was able to
separate himself from his Hulk by magic and banish the monster to
Hell. Now that Hulk has grown more powerful in exile and has escaped
from Hell, the only way Dr Banner can defeat him is by breaking the
Eye of Agamotto which will render Banner powerless so they must find
another plan....
616 Hulk is restored to Earth and the
two Hulks fight, green vs orange, and in the fight Incredible trick
Infernal into smashing the Eye of Agomotto. Spidey binds him and
after this Hulk turn back into Banner he begs Hulk to kill
him...which Hulk does....
The next day at Parker Technologies,
the Interdimensional Translocator is ready to send the three 616
heroes back to their own world. They learn that the dead Banner is
now traveling other worlds, Infernal Hulk is now beating up the other
Wade Wilson, and that this Peter Parker has repented of his crimes
and is going to try to redeem himself in a new guise as the
flaming-skulled Ghost Spider. The guys make it back to Earth-161
where they discover a massive hero vs villain battle going on and
gladly join in....
