Synopsis

Black Widow: The Things They Say Abou Her #2 synopsis by Peter Silvestro
Rating: 3.5 stars

Miami: A shady doctor patches up a bullet-riddled Sally Anne Carter and some men working for Bobby Campero take her away. Some weeks later, Black Widow visits the doctor, wanting to know about the Medusagen. The doctor, mistaking Natasha for one of Campero’s crooks, mentions Sally Anne and everything changes. The doctor, sunk deep into alcohol and gambling after the deaths of his wife and child, tells her everything she wants to know and she sets out….

Natasha begins preying on the activities of organized crime figure Rafael Perez. She sends a recorded message to Daredevil in New York, explaining her rationale; Matt turns it over to Nick Fury….

Martin Ferris and Kestrel are listening in on police interrogations of low-level mobsters. The two bicker and she challenges him to do something. So Ferris goes into the interrogation room and brutally beats one of the men, slashing him with a knife until he reveals what he knows about the Black Widow….

Rafael Perez and Bobby Campero meet. Perez wants to know why Black Widow is after him; Campos claims it’s all political, terrorist stuff. Perez demands that Bobby take care of it, giving him an ultimatum….

That night, Natasha takes Bobby Campero prisoner in his car, demanding to know where Sally Anne Carter is. Campero balks but, unbeknownst to Natasha, a sniper is drawing a bead on her….

Review / Commentaries

Black Widow: The Things They Say Abou Her #2 Review by (May 15, 2024)

Review: And now Natasha is on the trail of Sally Anne Carter, who played a part in the earlier series and is set for a larger role in this one. Dark and violent series lacks the compelling plotline of the first miniseries—which was all about someone killing Black Widows, mind you—substituting some fairly standard gangster stuff.

Comments: Not rated but should be PSR+ (Parental Supervision Recommended Plus).
