Captain America (2025 series) #11

Captain America and Nick Fury have discovered Doctor Doom’s secret and it is a boy who claims to be a clone of the late supervillain. But the boy mentions a weapon, which alerts Cap and Fury to further danger. Aunt Marta shoots Fury while the kid grabs a backpack and runs, with Cap in pursuit. Nearby, Red Hulk’s device picks up the energy signature from the backpack so he announces to the nation that they are now under American control as his Hulked-out squad drops into the city. Cap and Fury communicate by radio, Cap asking if Ross’ moves were authorized by the President. And then the boy runs into Red Hulk….

Charles Castlemore finds the injured Red Widow; she confesses to the murder of Trevor Tambling, asserting all she knows how to do is kill. Charles suggests they use the chaos to fake their own deaths and start new lives elsewhere. She tells him she has done terrible things and that she is hideously scarred under the mask. He hugs her and they run off together….

Red Hulk pursues the boy and then Cap arrives to stop Ross who sends Cap flying with a punch to the shield. Rulk promises the kid a quick death when the sky is suddenly filled with birds swarming Rulk as Captain America (Sam Wilson) drops down to check on Steve Cap, who gives Sam a goodbye message to Sharon Carter, in case he doesn’t make it and sends Sam after the boy, revealing that he is a clone of Doctor Doom. Sam carries off the boy, frustrating Red Hulk. Cap is overwhelmed by the chaos caused by Ross’ plans and races to the rescue of a kid about to be crushed by a falling tower and everything turns dark…

…as Cap’s teammate Joe Ramos leads a group digging up the rubble where Cap was last seen. The find the boy, protected by Cap’s shield…and then they find Cap, apparently dead….

Rulk and his squad recover the backpack held by the Doom clone….

Cap finds himself naked in a red and desolate landscape where encounters Victor von Doom, who welcomes him to Hell….
