Synopsis

Captain America and the Korvac Saga #3 Synopsis by Peter Silvestro

Two years ago: the cyborg villain Korvac, on the run from the Guardians of the Galaxy, comes across the Taa II, worldship of Galactus. The curious machine-man enters and jacks into the ship’s computers…and is suddenly imbued with the Power Cosmic….

Now, Captain America, transported one thousand years into his future, is accompanying Nikki and Firelord of the Guardians on a quest to the Taa II to obtain the Ultimate Nullifier. As they begin their descent to the Taa II, Korvac attacks, blowing a hole in the side of the craft which sucks the inhabitants into space. Cap orders Firelord to release them from the protective bubble he has created and Cap and Nikki are pulled to the worldship by its own gravity. Inside, Cap takes the lead and they begin the search for the weapons room. They are attacked by an army of Rocktoids and Cap tries to fight them off, when suddenly, an unconscious Firelord comes crashing through the ceiling to make a crater in the floor. A triumphant Korvac follows a moment later, and announces that Captain America is going to help it obliterate humanity…
