Synopsis

Captain Marvel #20 Synopsis by Peter Silvestro
Rick Jones is in Greenwich Village trying to launch his music career. One evening, he comes upon a pair of muggers attacking an old man, and, unable to beat them on his own, summons Captain Marvel to finish the job. Mar-Vell pleads with Rick to try to find a way to free the hero permanently from the Negative Zone; Rick thinks Bruce Banner may be the man they need to solve their problem.

On his way to the Southwest, Captain Marvel stops to aid the victims of a tornado and to battle the gang of looters known as the Rat Pack. The delay causes Mar-Vell to reach his three-hour limit on Earth and he falls from the sky and transforms back into Rick Jones. Bruce Banner spots Rick, and, jumping to the conclusion that the Avengers are persecuting him again, is angered enough to turn into the Hulk. Jade Jaws leaps into the air, intending to crush the unconscious Rick...
