Rating: 3 stars

Alison "Dazzler" Blaire and her band are booked to perform at Gordon University, replacing a country and western act. On the subway platform, Ali sees members of the Satan's Creeps gang harassing riders and uses her Dazzler light abilities to stun them; she is shocked that the witnesses seem more afraid of her mutant abilities than the punks who caused the trouble.

Meanwhile, Dr. Bruce Banner is at the University hoping to gain access to a genetics lab so he can find a way to cure himself of being the Hulk. He tries to get a job but is turned away because he has no ID. Overhearing this, Lance, Dazzler's stage manager, hires him (at substandard wages) to help set up equipment for the show. That evening, while most of the student body is at the concert, Bruce tries to break into a research lab but is caught by security guards. The stress triggers his transformation into the Hulk and Jade Jaws flees into the campus' underground tunnel system.

The Hulk smashes up through the stage where Dazzler is performing, causing the audience to panic. Ali uses her light powers to distract the Hulk while everyone gets away. But the flashing lights just make Hulk angrier; he smashes through the wall and escapes. Ali realizes it's up to her to stop the rampaging Hulk, and reluctantly she pursues.

Dazzler (1981 series) #6 Review by (February 15, 2010)
This two-part story marks Hulk's only appearances in Dazzler's title. Danny Fingeroth participated in the script and A. Gil is also an inker in this issue.
