At the airport, Ghost Rider battles one of Lucifer’s avatars but, torn between saving innocent lives and stopping the villain, he fails to do either. Planning to head to Buffalo in pursuit of the monster, he is caught up in a traffic jam and ends up at a diner where he sees Hulk’s ultimatum on TV. Johnny struggles with his inner demon, and overrules it, heading back to New York to combat the Hulk.
