Right after arriving in New York city, a man hired to finish him, attacks Jim Wilson. Jim escapes, but the man places a tracer on his clothes. Such allows that man's boss to locate Wilson. They call him the Constrictor, an assassin with adamantium coils, assigned to kill Wilson by someone from the West coast Jim caused major troubles to. Jim is fortunate to reach Bruce Banner on a paid phone, with the assistance of operator (Banner was listed as Bruce Roberts). As Jim is disclosing his location, the Constrictor attacks and nearly kills him. Hearing all that noise, Banner rushes into a cab to aid his friend.

When Banner arrives, the Constrictor is riding off with Jim in a car. Standing in the middle of the street, Banner turns into the Hulk before the villain crashes his car onto him. Jim is not severely injured, but he is hurt inside. After placing Jim in a safe spot, Hulk fights the Constrictor.

The assassin gets the upper hand when he blinds the Hulk temporarily with his whips. He the electrifies old greenskin, placing his coils around the neck. But electricity gives Hulk his sight back, and he hurls the Constrictor away. The villain grabs Jim by the neck and threatens to snap it if Hulk approaches. Hulk pounds the ground, separating the Constrictor from Jim. Mad, the Constrictor throws his whips at Hulk, who dunks, hitting a power line instead; the discharge knocks him off.

Finally, Hulk and Jim walk away.

Meanwhile, Betty Ross, signed to a hotel as Betty Curtis, makes her first steps toward a new life. And SHIELD's Sidney Levine lifts a mysterious large capsule from the ocean.
