Captain Barracuda fires a beam from the gamma ray device, hitting the Hulk on the chest. The green behemoth drops unconscious.

Barracuda takes Robinson Crusoe captive to his submarine along with the device.

When Hulk recovers, he follows them underwater to a submerged city. Hulk witnesses as Crusoe gets turned into an ape man using the gamma device.

They lock Crusoe in a prison. Hulk frees him and fights the foes. Captain Barracuda fires the gamma device at Hulk, triggering the transformation into Banner.

But then, Crusoe kills Barracuda, and using the device, turns everyone into men apes.

Finally, Crusoe places Banner into an escape submarine pod and launches it to the surface, before activating the self-destruct mechanism that blows the underwater city to pieces.
