Synopsis / Summary / Plot

Iron Man Noir #4 Synopsis by T Vernon
Tony Stark has discovered that his father Howard is the villain Baron Zemo; Baron Strucker explains that he had been irreversibly brainwashed and his death faked years ago. Tony, the power level dropping in his armor, bashes Arsenal and joins Rhodey and Pepper Potts in smashing through the castle wall and dropping to the ground—where they confront a pair of Nazi tanks with soldiers. Tony’s armor converts into a three-wheeled vehicle and they zoom off; they head out the gates and off a cliff landing aboard the airship where Jarvis is waiting. They are pursued by a fleet of Nazi airships; Tony, his power almost depleted, leaps out toward the lead airship, the one with the two Barons aboard. Tony smashes through various guards and seizes the trident—and then he is attacked by an army of Arsenals. He uses the orichalcum to amplify his power, destroying all of the enemy airships in a massive chain reaction. Tony plummets into the sea where he is rescued by Namor in his sub….

In the hospital, Tony tells the press that he is giving up adventuring; when they are gone, he makes plans for his new adventures to be chronicled by Pepper Potts, starting with a lunatic in Latveria….
