Synopsis

Uncanny Inhumans #11 synopsis by Rob Johnson
Rating: 4 stars
In Civil War II #2 angry Iron Man abducted the Inhuman precog Ulysses because 1 of his prophecies sent War Machine to his death. Queen Medusa led a contingent of Inhumans to Stark Tower to demand his return, but Captain Marvel (and companions including Captain America (Sam Wilson) and Thor (Jane Foster)) persuaded them to let her deal with Tony Stark.

Here Medusa agrees to leave. Stark's AI Friday starts to order both sides out until Grid disrupts her hologram. Karnak objects to giving in, but Medusa shuts down the argument.

However the disagreement flares up again back in New Attilan. Karnak says this sign of weakness will embolden their enemies. Triton automatically supports his Queen. And Crystal is swayed when she says she wanted to avoid further alienating ordinary humans by starting a destructive fight in the city.

But Medusa continues that they will hit back another way. She tasks Iso, Karnak and Nur to find ways to hurt Stark through the things he loves. But they must only target the man, not Stark International which would affect many others. Meanwhile she herself will work with Captain Marvel to get Ulysses back.

A new Inhuman called Mosaic is sent to temporarily take over the body of 1 of Stark's executives, and send all Tony's personal money to an offshore account. Crystal accompanies Grid as he hacks into Tony's private database (and fights past Friday in virtual ninja mode). He extracts all his personal emails. Lockjaw teleports into Stark's 'garage' and leaves bombs to destroy all his personal vehicles.

Ninja Friday reports the latest attack to Tony. He tells her not to counterattack because the Inhumans are being very selective, and he deserves to be punished for invading their home. He tells her to just send Medusa a message saying "Message received", and he hopes that will stop hostilities.

But it doesn't. They blow up parts of 3 of his houses, and cause scandals by releasing some of his emails about affairs he's had. His assistant Mary Jane Watson offers no comment.

But 1 of the Royal Family still thinks Medusa hasn't gone far enough. Stark needs to be made an example of to deter other enemies. But it's Triton not Karnak who we see seek out Maximus as an ally.

Later Medusa is explaining again to faithful Karnak that her restrained targeted approach was necessary to avoid turning public opinion against them. So she's shocked when there's a large explosion at the base of Stark Tower, which possibly brings it down.

Review / Commentaries

Uncanny Inhumans #11 Review by (July 19, 2016)
This issue starts partway though Civil War II #2. Medusa possibly stops attacking Tony Stark's 'toys' after Captain Marvel & gang rescue Ulysses at the end of CWII#2.

This issue shows a female being shocked at Stark's revealed 'sex scandals'. Marvel Wiki says his current significant other Amara Perera is in this issue, so that's probably her.
