Slag but is immediately killed by a Deathlok, who moves on to his next target….
Wolverine
and Steve Rogers go on a pub crawl to celebrate the latter’s recent return from
the dead; Nightcrawler will serve as their designated driver in a borrowed jet
from the X-Men….
Deathlok
approaches a young couple on a rocky first date; informing them that they will
marry and have a child who will go on to be a superhero, he guns them down in
the street….
In
Polynesia, Logan and Steve sit in a bar, talking about various things going on
in their lives. Then a big guy complains about Logan’s choice of Hank Williams
on the jukebox and is thrown through the window for his troubles. Nightcrawler
calls Cyclops to say he’s won the bet with Logan lasting this long before
starting a fight….
Deathlok
slaughters several guards and staffers to enter a hospital to kill babies in
the maternity ward….
Returning
to New York, Steve and Logan part company to head home. Moments later, Logan is
approached by a young woman named Miranda Bayer who claims she has had visions
of the future and that Deathloks are now killing people who threaten that
future….
With
the death of latent telepath Winston Rowe, the Deathloks are assigned their new
target: Captain America….
