Rating:
At the hospital, Teen Tony Stark is crying to Jarvis about how his attempts to play hero in the frat house fire (last issue) may have killed Kris DeGann, all because he was drinking. Jarvis assures him he must learn from his own mistakes, like everyone else. They are interrupted by Prof. Meredith McCall who is now blind as a result of being frozen in issue #328; Meredith has recognized Jarvis' voice and expresses sympathy for the loss of Tony Stark (she doesn't know about Teen Tony); she mentions that the damage to her eyes may be temporary and she was told she was rescued by Iron Man. Tony goes to Kris' room where he learns she only has a minor concussion and will likely be fine when she awakens....
That night, Teen Tony is still brooding about everyone's warning him about his weaknesses that he is at a loss. War Machine, in a black and gold armor, lands next to him and they talk for a bit—then Rhodey gets a call for help from Abe Zimmer. Abe has infiltrated Stark's Long Island plant to clean out the Armory but someone beat him to it. He battles Calico, a villainess with claws and a stealth-field and he manages to electrocute her fatally. But she was part of a team and someone blasts Abe across the room and out of the window. Iron Man catches him but Abe dies in his arms. Iron Man and War Machine enter the building and Rhodey informs him that this is Tony Stark's old office and many old suits of armor are stored here. Then the rest of the villains arrive and take down Rhodey: a team called Stockpile, made up of Sunstreak (flame powers), Joust (guns that fire electric blasts), a new Unicorn, and Brass, a cyber-linked armor suit controlled from afar by the gruesomely disfigured Morgan Stark, Tony's evil cousin....
