Battling on top of a starship driven telepathically by the Leader, Hulk and the Rhino arrive on Counter-Earth, a twin planet to our world. In it, there’s a duplicate of every person on Earth, except for superheroes and supervillains.

Note: Counter-Earth orbits on the other side of the sun, being invisible from Earth, created by the man-god, the High Evolutionary.

Defence forces capture the ship and sent to the labs of Bruce Banner from Counter-Earth!

A group called the New-Men wants to use the Hulk-Rhino spaceship to return to their planet, Wundagore. But another group wants the vehicle too.

Hulk helps the group lead by Porcunius while the Rhino aids the other group, commanded by Kohbra.

Eventually, Hulk meets the Banner from Counter-Earth and tries killing him (since Banner is the one he hates the most!) But the Hulk halts when a brave boy, Bobbie, Robert Bruce Banner, Jr., the son of Banner and Counter-Earth’s Betty Ross, stands up to defend his father. The Hulk does not smash children, he says, and he feels linked to the boy, somehow.

Rhino takes the opportunity of Hulk being with his guard down to attack from the back. But after a brief fight, the Hulk knocks the villain out. It’s time for Hulk and the unconscious Rhino to leave the twin planet on the Leader’s starship.

And on Earth (the original one), Betty Ross gets married to Glenn Talbot!

Also in this story: Thunderbolt Ross, Adam Warlock; in flashbacks, Rick Jones (from Counter-Earth).
