Synopsis / Summary / Plot

Incredible Hulk #202 Synopsis by Julio Molina-Muscara
Hulk falls through a microscopic universe until he lands on a green planet. Two Warthos (giant pig-dog creatures) try killing our hero. But the Hulk gets rid of them and continues his walk through the forest.

Suddenly, Ol' Greenskin finds a group of green skinned people as Jarella, his former fiance, is being thrown with a catapult towards the rocky side of a mountain!

Hulk rescues Jarella in the nick of time and faces her attackers in anger. But Jarella halts him: Her people believed that offering Jarella, their former queen, in sacrifice to a so-called God of the Mountain, the earthquakes that plague the planet would stop. They blame Jarella's relationship with an outsider, the Hulk, for the tremors.

Hulk hears no more of that nonsense and takes Jarella far away. In a forest, the green giant gives her flowers. Jarella gets emotional and thanks the Hulk with warm kisses. But a sudden tremor spoils the loving moment.

Hulk decides to visit that God of the Mountain. Jarella goes with him. At the top, the couple finds a castle, a construct inside a hill with windows and a large door.

Panels sample #4

As they enter the castle, Jarella has seconds thoughts and suggests to leave. But the Hulk wants to find the god and so he does!

Panels sample #5

The "god" is a strong green-skinned giant who wields a hatchet. At first, Jade Jaws seems less than a match for his colossal enemy. But the madder the Hulk gets, the stronger he gets... Hulk hits the god hard in the head, revealing electronic circuits under his skin. He was but a giant robot.

Panels sample #6

After a short struggle, the Hulk prevails over the robot "god", sending it through a wall and a precipice.

Victorious, Hulk exists the castle to receive a powerful blast on his chest that knocks him unconscious. As Jarella fears for her loved one's life, the shooter and robot's creator reveals himself as Psyklop!
