Wonder Man finds himself face-to-face with the Kree champion Captain Atlas—to their mutual surprise. Atlas attacks and repeatedly uses the stolen Nega-Bands to quickly switch places with Rick Jones before Simon can retaliate. Meanwhile, Quasar and company are equally surprised when Rick keeps vanishing from Starfox’s ship. The battle on Earth continues to Wonder Man’s disadvantage until he finally catches on to the timing and is able to deliver a stunning blow to the villain when he reappears.

Elsewhere, the Kree Supreme Intelligence recruits another disgruntled hero, Ultimus, for his Star-Force….

Seeing that the Kree-Shi’ar war is threatening Earth, Captain America summons all Avengers to a meeting. Rick Jones is returned to the Pantheon. Simon tells his agent, secretary, and landlady to put all business on hold while he attends.

Meanwhile, a massive solar flare threatens to destroy the STARCORE….

Wonder Man (1991 series) #7 Review by (February 8, 2014)
Review: Issue-long fight is terrific but seems like padding to drag Wonder Man into a leading role in the tale; really cool but seems a bit superfluous. Easy to overlook in all the excitement, though. The epic as a whole? One of the best multi-comic crossovers, marked by a complex story, tight plotting, strong characterization, and consistent quality. And it actually tries to mean something in the end!

Comments: Part 4 of Operation Galactic Storm.
