Comic Book: Strange Tales

What This Book is About:
Originally a science fiction/horror anthology, this title showcased a solo series for the Human Torch (from the Fantastic Four) starting with issue #101. Doctor Strange was introduced in issue #110, appearing in the other half of the book. In issue #135 "Nick Fury, Agent of SHIELD" first appeared, replacing the Torch's series. Strange and Fury shared the book until issue #168 after which it was retitled DOCTOR STRANGE. The book was revived continuing the original numbering in 1973 as an anthology title featuring Brother Voodoo, Golem, and Warlock. Issues #182-188 were DOCTOR STRANGE reprints.
