Avengers Classic #7 Review by (September 9, 2023)
Despite Baron Zemo's final thought the trio will be back in Avengers #9. In fact the new story amplifies the contents of Av#9 p2:5-3:3.

Avengers Classic #7 Synopsis by Rob Johnson
Th main story reprints Avengers #7 where Baron Zemo recruits his 2nd Masters Of Evil - the Asgardian Enchantress and Executioner. It ends with Thor banishing the 3 to another dimension.

Story 2:- Dimension 6.5

In a fractured space between Dimensions 6 & 7 the Vertiplasm (a kind of cosmic jellyfish) drifts alone until Thor's space warp delivers Zemo's flying craft to it. The being's tentacles grab this new thing and try to absorb it.

Inside the Executioner is angry that the Enchantress speaks admiringly of Thor. Baron Zemo urges 1 of them to do something (but obviously can't think of anything himself). Amora tries a spell which fails because the alien's primitive but powerful mind is too disruptive. So Skurge says he'll go outside to fight the thing. Amora points out that this alien environment might kill him, but he answers that he would do anything for *her*. We just hear Enchantress think that she'd rather have Thor's love. Zemo provides him with a lifeline but annoys the Asgardian by telling him in great detail what to do.

Executioner exits the craft and starts ripping apart tentacles. Inside Amora decides to use her whiles to get the Baron under her control. While he struggles to bypass the damage that Captain America's shield did to the craft she sucks up to him. Skurge sees them through the viewport and it fuels his anger so that he breaks free of the tentacles that have ensnared *him* and then rips the craft free. Zemo immediately fires the thrusters and  they move away with Executioner in tow.

Skurge gets back into the craft to find the other 2 on cosy terms. Amora immediately switches to hugging Skurge and praising his prowess, while ignoring whatever Zemo is saying. Executioner advises him to shut up and get them out of here. The Baron thinks they're far enough away from the beast for Enchantress to use her magic (while thinking that he'll ditch this unmanageable pair as soon as possible). Amora manages to magic them out of the dimension.

The Vertiplasm is glad to be rid of the troublesome interlopers but it's lonely again.
