On a late-night mission, Misty Knight enters the laboratory

Serpent hate group were procuring healthy males for illegal genetic experiments
by Dr Karl Malus to create animal-people. Cap confronted him in his lab and

powers. With his invulnerability and tentacles, Malus easily defeats Cap while
seizing Redwing as a prize….
And
now Cap is a werewolf. He and Misty head out in search of Malus and Redwing;
they locate the new lab and crash in, facing a gang of animal men. Redwing
unleashes his sonic cannon and disables all the baddies. Sam finds his avian
partner—and the missing Joaquin Torres, now transformed into a bird-man….
Cap
reports back to Joaquin’s grandmother (see issue #1) that her grandson is safe.
Taken aback by Cap’s new appearance, she is nevertheless grateful for his
actions. Meanwhile, Sam’s wolfish appearance is said to be temporary—which
means Misty and D-Man must get all their jokes in quickly. Cap is contacted by
his mysterious informant the Whisperer who tells him who was behind Malus….
