Captain America (Sam Wilson) and Deadpool have been arrested in Latveria and brought
before Doctor Doom with a list of charges being read. Cap explains that he was
tracing a smuggling operation that would interest Doom. Doom replies that the
smugglers are bringing in food and humanitarian aid in defiance of American
sanctions. He allows Cap to go but with a warning to the US that the next
incursion will be dealt with severely. Deadpool is ordered to stay….
Cap
reports to Senator Mansfield that it is Vibranium being smuggled and he wants
to contact Wakanda about a joint mission to find the bad guys….
Falcon
(Joaquin Torres) carries Luisa into the mountains where he places her in a well-hidden
SHIELD safe house. He asks how she got to the lab and she tells him that she
was with a group leaving work in a company bus but this time they were gassed
and she woke up in the lab. Falcon gives her a device that when activated sends
a distress call to Redwing and from there to Cap or Falcon….
Sam
visits a friend in Sing Sing and learns that the Wakanda Forever movement is
growing stronger in the prison and the Vibranium smuggling may have ties to it….
Cap
meets remotely with Princess Shuri and Prime Minister Folasade, explaining his
suspicions that Vibranium is being smuggled out of Wakanda. He suggests a joint
operation to locate and stop the smugglers but he is denied with Shuri citing
national sovereignty issues….
So
Sam applies for a visa to visit Wakanda, sponsored by the Wakanda Forever group….
In
Nogales, Mexico, Falcon spies another company bus with a gas mask hidden under
the driver’s seat. He follows the bus but is shot down with an EMP weapon by
Crossbones. The bad guy has him put in a cage while the rest of the gang guards
White Wolf’s Vibranium….
In
the safe house, Luisa takes a small object from her shoe….
