Synopsis / Summary / Plot

Captain America #603 Synopsis by Peter Silvestro
The 1950s Captain America has recognized that the new recruit to his fascist group the Watchdogs is Bucky Barnes. Meanwhile, the Falcon is flying the real Cap toward the Watchdog camp when they spot and attack a truck full of the armored militia men. Realizing his cover is probably already blown Cap continues toward the camp, intent on discovering Bad Cap’s plan. On the morrow, after a full day of training, Bucky gets up at night and sneaks into the command hut, where he is confronted by a man dressed as Captain America. Realizing that his opponent isn’t the real 50s Cap he races outside—into the arms of dozens of armed guards. In town, Sam Wilson enters his hotel to find he is hunted by Bad Cap and the Watchdogs. He manages to escape through a window soaring away on his holographic wings—until Cap’s shield brings him down. The Watchdog scientist examines the wings with hopes of extracting the Vibranium—which can be used to create the most powerful explosive known to man.
