Synopsis / Summary / Plot

Defenders, The #7 Synopsis by Julio Molina-Muscara
Hulk, Doctor Strange, Namor, Valkyrie, Nighthawk, and the Red Raven look astonished as the Wayfinder and the Dark Gods start entering our dimension through the portal opened by the recent explosion. Hulk volunteers to smash the monsters, but Strange thinks that could make things worse and locks him in the Bands of Cytorak. Acting fast, the Master of the Mystic Arts tries holding the menace with all its power. Meanwhile, the Blackraven cultists engage in battle with the other Defenders. But Strange feels his power drifting so he calls his teammates and releases Jade Jaws to stop the monsters. The non-group attacks bravely but is the Red Raven who manages to stop the menace by closing the portal using the whole sky island as a plug. To ensure victory, Doc Strange seals the island to the portal with magic. Now the Sub-Mariner asks the Defenders to hold their promise in helping him save Atlantis from Attuma. When everyone decides to make the prince's quest their own as well, "dumb-magician" casts a breathing spell and everyone swims to Atlantis. But Attuma has joined forces with Orka, Tiger Shark, Sea Urchin, Piranha and Nagala. Good and evil collide but not for long, the curse brings the Defenders to another place in Tibet where they defeat Hell-Eyes and his goons. Defenders decide to find the Silver Surfer to help them try ending the curse. Finally, a researcher called Sally is mysteriously shot at her house.
