Synopsis / Summary / Plot

Incredible Hulk #104 Synopsis by Julio Molina-Muscara
Miek calls the Hulk in the middle of the night to show him the ship that brought him to Sakaar. The recording of the Illuminati's farewell message plays over and over again. This makes the Hulk mad and he hits the console, silencing the message. The Hulk returns to his royal bed, wakes up wife Caiera and takes her to the Steppes. Afraid of being the Worldbreaker, the Hulk tells her that he wants to seclude himself in the Steppes to avoid any problems, and take her with him. However, Caiera tells him that he should not fear; he cannot be the Worldbreaker because from his blood, plants grow. He saved the arid planet. And he should not want to be alone, because he belongs there, with the people of Sakaar, with Caiera and with their unborn child (!)

This great news changes the attitude of the Green King which now wants peace to prevail. His Warbound team help him clean up the city. The Hulk then sends them to make treaties with the defunct Red Emperor's enemies. And finally, Spikes are sent back to space so they can return to their home; the Hulk also frees the Spikes trapped in the broken moon, then he makes an amazing return to Sakaar by falling from the extratosphere like a meteorite in flames. In gratitude, the Spikes release the essence of those they consumed, and those souls communicate with their loved ones for a last time.

Everyone thanks the Hulk. They call him Two-Hands, Holku, the Green Scar, the Green King. As the Hulk and his queen Caiera walk among their people, they stumble upon the ship that brought the Hulk to this planet. Some natives wanted to display it as a remembrance of the coming of the Sakaarson. Suddenly, seemingly the warp core of the ship is compromised. A "BEEP BEEP" announces the inevitable detonation. The Hulk throws the ship to the sky and asks everyone to get to cover. Caiera embraces the Hulk, calls him "Hulko". A huge blast of atomic proportions engulfs Crown City...
