Synopsis

Incredible Hulk (1999 series) #105 synopsis by Julio M2
Rating: 5 stars
Seemingly the compromised nuclear core of the ship that brought the Hulk to Sakaar goes off with the might of an atomic bomb. The blast destroys Crown City, killing an immense number of victims, including the Shadow Elders, Elloe's mother, and Caiera the Oldstrong, who married the Hulk 3 days ago and was expecting their baby (!!!) After watching his wife die in his arms (her last words were "I will never leave you"), the Hulk discharges his anger against the ground, throwing large pieces around as if they weighted nothing. Thinking that the Worldbreaker was really the ship, he felt partly responsible for Sakaar's destruction. But not as responsible as the ones who built it and used it to cast him away! The Illuminati. And the Hulk now wants REVENGE!!

The remaining Warbounds Korg, Hiroim, Miek, the Brood and Elloe saved their lives because they were at a great distance from the blast or fled far enough in the nick of time. Returning to the desolate Crown City, the Warbound find the Hulk with teary eyes, asking them to leave him alone. But they say no, 'cuz they're warbound 'til the end. The Hulk and the Warbound board the Shadow Elder's stone starship and guided by robot Arch-E-5912, begin their journey to Earth. Hiroim helps the Hulk build new armor and a sword. Sakaar's revenge is on the way!!!

Review / Commentaries

Incredible Hulk (1999 series) #105 Review by (February 15, 2010)
The Hulk, standing close to ground zero, does not even faint. It is indicated that the bomb has made the Hulk stronger. Caiera the Oldstrong, wife of the Hulk, dies in this issue. She protected the Hulk with her Old Power. It is the end of the Planet Hulk saga.
