Iron Man 2: Public Identity #2 Review by (April 1, 2022)
Comments: Tie-in to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, serving as a prologue to the movie IRON MAN 2. Plot by Joe Casey and Justin Theroux. Finishes credited to Barry Kitson and Stefan Gaudiano. No colorist is credited.

Review: Decent but unnecessary lead in to the second MCU Iron Man movie introduces various themes that are part of the movie which are pretty well covered in the film itself. These include Tony’s reckless early days as a celebrity superhero, the Military’s growing disappointment with him, Tony’s mean father shaping his life, the betrayal of Anton Vanko, General Ross’ hostility toward Tony, Justin Hammer’s jealousy, and Nick Fury’s concern. The writing and art are okay, nothing more and even Adi Granov’s realistic covers are seriously generic. The best I can say is “decent.”
