When the Orb detonates the Watcher’s eye in Manhattan, Thor gains the knowledge that he has a sister. He flies to Asgardia to confront the All-Mother Freyja about the Tenth Realm and the mysterious sibling. She relates the story of the Tenth Realm and its inhabitants, the Angels. Of a long ago war between the Aesir and the Angels. How the Angel Queen kidnapped Aldrif, the infant daughter of Odin and Freyja and slew her before her parents’ eyes. How Odin in his wrath destroyed the Angels’ warships and tore the Tenth Realm from its roots in Yggdrasil and sealed it away from all sight and memory—but Thor insists his sister is alive….
Later Freyja confronts evil Old Loki who denies having any hand in this revelation….
Thor goes to Broxton where he finds (young) Loki still brooding over the recent events in his own book and recruits him to help uncover the missing realm. They take Thor’s chariot into space and with his magic Loki uncovers the hidden door. They force their way in and discover the Tenth Realm…
Elsewhere, Old Loki is watching and relishing the idea of introducing Thor to his sister—Angela of the Guardians of the Galaxy….
