Synopsis
At the end of last issue blind Daredevil woke up back in his own apartment able to see! And the 1st thing he sees is Iron Man, who tells him his cure is due to Extremis but is temporary. Tony Stark offers to keep supplying him with free doses, with the unspoken proviso that Matt Murdock stop hassling him about 'addicting' San Francisco's populace to the drug that makes them perfect.
DD refuses the offer, and accuses the Axis-changed Stark of playing god. Tony says that compared with the rest of humanity he is god. He's just stopped playing human.
Meanwhile in New York Pepper Potts is continuing her chat from #1 with 1 of IM's earliest suits of armour. The dialogue makes it sound as though this is an earlier Tony Stark who's been brought forward in time. And now he's busy absorbing all the changes in the world since his time. They mention the contingency plan again, but the armoured form says he'll have to update it to suit the altered circumstances.
IM gets a call from She-Hulk to tell him that Teen Abomination (#1 again) has escaped and is heading to the Stark Island (ex-Alcatraz) base. Daredevil tries to stop him leaving, but the no-longer-Golden Avenger just punches him out.
The base is being evacuated as a SHIELD helicopter shoots at the junior villain. But he just throws a motorbike at them. Iron Man rescues the crew from the falling chopper, and then takes the fight to TA.
But Teen Abomination reveals that he's only 13. He came to TS for help in #1, but Iron Man just knocked him out. (Well he was smashing up SanFran to get attention.) He says he's tried Extremis but it didn't do any good.
Tony tells him to start clearing up the damage. He'll see what he can do, and the Teen might be useful.
Meanwhile (again) Matt Murcock goes to see his long-time friend and law partner Foggy Nelson. So that he can actually see his face for the 1st time, just before his blindness returns.
