Asgard celebrates their victory but Thor asks to return to Earth, where the police bring in a scientist to look over a robot that a museum expedition unearthed; originally doll-size but now grown to human-size. The robot comes to life and continues growing as the police shoot at it, as if each attack stimulated growth. The Growing Man rampages through the city, calling for his master.

Thor return to New York and resumes his life as Don Blake.

The Growing Man's rampage ends when his master, Kang the Conqueror, appears and strikes it with a de-energizer, making it doll-size again. However, the police pursuing the Growing Man, confront the Conqueror. Soon after, the police contact Blake, hoping he'll contact Thor. Blake becomes Thor and fights the again-enlarging Growing Man. Kang, who states the he hid the Stimuloid in the past but plans to bring it in the future to conquer his time period, ambushes Thor, shrinks the Growing Man again and gets into his time machine. Thor uses Mjolnir to place the machine into an infinity vortex, placing Kang beyond all time and space.
