Back in New York, Thor changes to Dr. Don Blake to beging his search for Sif. The trolls use a molecule disperser to pull Blake through the ground and steal his cane. As a troll strikes it on the ground, Blake grabs the cane and becomes Thor again. 

As Thor and Ulik fight, the troll armies beset Asgards' outskirts. To check on his main invasion force's progress, Geirrodur consults the entity Orikal, who lies imprisoned in a lake of fire. Orikal predicts that Asgard's forces are about to be overwhelmed. 

Thor sees Sif held in a mystic sphere and lets go of Mjolnir to open it. A troll uses the Orb of Orikal to snatch the hammer. Ulik and his men open a dimension tunnel back to Asgard. Sif is released, but Thor will turn back into Blake within seconds. 

Meanwhile, the trolls invade the heart of Asgard, using a mystic blast to deprive Odin of his sword.

Thor and the Warriors Three arrive at the cave of Wazir the Prophet, hoping to learn the way to the Mystic Mountain where dwells their enemy Mogul. First they must contend with Wazir’s huge guardian, the one-eyed giant Ogur. The heroes engage the monster in noisy battle until the irritable Prophet, disturbed at his meditations, comes out to see what the fuss is. Thor and his comrades introduce themselves and explain their mission. Wazir has them clutch his staff and they are endowed with the knowledge of the Mystic Mountain and its location. The Prophet then vanishes in a mist and they return to awaken Volstagg from his guard duty so they may continue on their quest….
