Synopsis

Hulk leaps all the way to the Quebec woods. The Canadian government detects him, and sends in their newest secret asset his way: codename Weapon X!

Before he arrives, the Hulk dwells among the woods, fighting off wolves, until he hears a voice in his head, calling him. Such unnerves the man monster who finds the source in Marie Cartier, a lady that plays it nice, soothing the Hulk. But unbeknownst to the Hulk, she wants to transfer the curse of the Wendigo onto Jade Jaws to cure his brother, Paul Cartier.

When the Wendigo shows up, Hulk believes Marie is in danger and attacks the white fur monster (who he met and fought in Incredible Hulk #162). The Wendigo proves to be a formidable opponent, withstanding every attack by the Hulk, and delivering powerful ones himself!

As the two monsters fight, agent Weapon X arrives, naming himself the Wolverine!
