Review / Commentaries

Captain America (2018 series) #26 Review by (December 16, 2020)

Review: Pretty nice story is an issue-long action scene with some nice mediations on how Cap values the friendships he’s made more than the victories and honors he has been given. This last part comes off a bit sappy when summarized in words, but in the issue itself, the context of battle frames it as more proof that Cap is the most decent guy in all of Marvel. The only disappointment in the comic? We don’t get to see Red Hulk beat the living daylights out of Crossbones.

Comments: The cover is a bit misleading as Cap and Rulk aren’t opponents but it makes for a nice Alex Ross painting anyway.
