Reacting to Miriam Sharpe’s message of hope being sent
around the world, the Sisters of Sin burst into the offices of Damien’s Gift
and take Miriam and Leonard prisoner. Their intent is to force Miriam to make a
video showing abject fear…but Speedball, who was shown the film of the takeover
while in Washington, called on Jocasta to send him through to Stamford, where
he takes on the villainesses. The battle goes back and forth, Robbie against
the bad ladies, until Sister Dream casts an image of the dead of Stamford
rising up, including Damien Sharpe, causing SB and Miriam to pass out from
terror. The Sisters plan to execute Speedball, Miriam, and Leonard on a livestream…and
then the people of Stamford burst in, ready to fight back….

Synopsis: The five young heroes fight the Shark Men while
Power Man relates their history as an ancient people who allied with the Nazis
during the War and were defeated by the Sub-Mariner, now waiting for the return
of their Dark God. Each uses their own special powers to defeat the enemy. Then
the huge Helicarrier they are stranded on picks up speed soaring through the
air. Amadeus Cho points out that they are the latest manifestations of eternal
archetypes: X-23 (Wolverine), Thunderstrike (Thor), Spider-Girl (Spider-Man),
and Power Man (Iron Fist), destined to be a team. At this the others figure out
that Amadeus is the one who brought them all together against their wills and
threaten him. He reveals that the ship they are on is on a collision course
with Honolulu to finish what it started in World War 2….

Synopsis: The people of Wisconsin rise up against the Great Lakes Avengers
(Big Bertha, Flatman, Mr Immortal, Doorman) for a variety of
silly reasons and besiege their home; after a skirmish, the heroes get fed up
and escape via Doorman. Mr. Immortal suggests they do something heroic to get
back in Milwaukee’s good graces; they encounter an aging Asbestos Man who is
looking for a way to regain his fearsome reputation. The heroes are afraid to
attack him because of the nasty properties of asbestos so the bad guy just
gives up. The good guys sit with him and commiserate. Some people tell the GLA
that the angry mob convinced them that the team is nothing to fear so they go
back to ignoring them. The heroes go for ice cream.
