Hulk #5 Review by (December 11, 2014)
Comments: Among other items, Kang's Trophy Room contains the following: Ultron, Captain America shields, Iron Man armor, Wolverine's skeleton, MODOK's skeleton and head device, Magneto's helmet, Machine Man's head, Juggernaut's helmet, Ant-Man's helmet, Dr. Doom's helmet, Nova's helmet, Sentinel, Mjolnir. Plus, what seems to be embalmed bodies of The Maestro (Hulk) and the She-Hulk.

Review and additional comments by Peter Silvestro

Review: An all-new Hulk! More threatening and focused than “Professor Hulk” the previous version of a smart Hulk. As with INDESTRUCTIBLE HULK, this new series promises some offbeat story arcs and this, “The Omega Hulk,” gets off to a good start with Hulk planning to shut down all other Gamma-powered characters, sort of a Big Green Armor Wars. Especially liked the use of the four assistants and the brief visit to Kang's trophy room.

Comments:Doc Green,” Hulk with Bruce Banner's brain, was created in ORIGINAL SIN #3.1-4: HULK VS IRON MAN. Additional items from Kang's trophy room: the embalmed bodies of Thing, IT (the giant stone monster), Fin Fang Foom, and Hyperion, Dr Octopus' tentacles, Vision, Destroyer, ROM, and the Silver Surfboard

Synopsis / Summary / Plot

Hulk #5 Synopsis by Julio Molina-Muscara
The Incredible Hulk, who now goes by the name of "Doctor Green", attacks the Asian United Republic of Valnon which had developed Gamma powered weapons. He threatens the Valnon authorities in such a way that the country announces their Gamma weapons program has been cancelled.

In the Beehive, former HQ of the Enclave, "Doc Green" asks Bruce Banner's team of scientists to aid him with a project. Those scientists are Patricia Wolman (Microneural Biology), Randall Jessup (Renewable Energies), Damon Veteri (Molecular Engineer), and Melinda Leucenstern (Molecular Engineer), and Melinda Leucenstern (Climatologist / Astrophysicist).

The goal of Doc Green's project is to create a cure for Gamma spawned monsters. He has reached the conclusion that the world will be a better place without them. But this serum won't work on the Hulk himself...

The healing serum includes Adamantium nanonites. To get the metal, Doc Green (inviting Leucenstern) uses a portal to travel to the future, and steals Ultron's arm from Kang's trophy room.

Doc Green first approaches his old friend Rick Jones (AKA A-Bomb) offering his cure. But A-Bomb does not take the invitation kindly and fights back.
