Thor & Loki: The Tenth Realm, Part Four of Five

Synopsis

Original Sin 5.n - Thor and Loki #4 synopsis by Peter Silvestro
Rating: 4 stars

Again we open with the hut in a dark wood and the two players at the game board….

Thor is a prisoner of the Angels of Heven, the long-hidden Tenth Realm, thanks to the treachery of Loki who is now female and the Angels’ Mistress of Strategies. Loki mocks his captive brother and departs with Angela, who has returned to her people to become Mistress of the Hunt. She and Loki ride on Thor’s goat-drawn chariot, leading a war fleet against Asgard….

Back in Heven, the Angel Queen has Thor whipped, all the while mocking his powerlessness. But the God of Thunder isn’t worried….

Loki leads the Angel forces against Asgard-Space…and the fleet is destroyed. Loki betrayed his "allies" by sending them toward a closed and uninhabited former Asgard. And then he stabs Angela….

In Heven, the captive Thor summons what the Angels have never seen before: a storm. This storm wreaks havoc in Heven and frees Thor to take his revenge….

Epilogue: Loki heads to the Prison of Gods and interrupts the two players at the game to tell the Pale King that the way to Heven is open and Asgard needs his aid. And so Odin returns….

Original Sin 5.n - Thor and Loki #4 Review by (September 6, 2014)
Review: The story and especially Al Ewing’s dialogue for crafty young Loki are amazing. The art still seems too dark and muddy but Thor’s triumph and Loki’s plot are quite entertaining developments.

Comments: Odin has been guarding his defeated brother, the Serpent, since FEAR ITSELF #7.

I don't think it's Angela who accompanies Loki and gets stabbed. Angela has no wings. This angel is presumably just some random army commander.
