Savage Avengers #16 Review by (December 26, 2020)
At the Bar With No Name with Conan and Juggernaut I spotted Angar The Screamer, Gorilla-Man (Arthur Nagan), Man-Bull, Nekra, Nightshade, Ringmaster, Sandman, Tatterdemalion, Toad and Vermin.
Marvel Fandom Wiki also adds Knockout who I'm not familiar with.
I wonder if possibly the body Conan is standing on is Man Mountain Marko, and the woman looking down at Marko may be Black Mamba.

Next issue we get dragged into the King In Black event with Deadpool.

Synopsis / Summary / Plot

Savage Avengers #16 Synopsis by Rob Johnson
In #14 Dr Strange sent Conan and Magik to Bruges to get a 2nd Eye Of Agamotto, the Eye of power or strength, from the Asgardian dragon Sadurang. They recruited Black Knight and Juggernaut, and they all fought the dragon. That issue ended with Juggernaut unconscious after reducing Sadurang to his human form to face the other 3. Last issue mainly followed another team on another quest, but ended with a short scene in Bruges where Magik was the only 1 left standing against the dragon.

However this issue doesn't start with either of those scenarios. Instead we have all 4 heroes facing the huge dragon (though Cain Marko does threaten to turn the Asgardian back into a man *again*). After a lot of bluster from both sides the dragon breathes fire at the 4, but Magik creates a stepping disc in the air to redirect the blast back at the blaster. As Juggy smashes into the foe Illyana Rasputin asks Conan and the Knight to create a hole in the dragon's scales so her Soulsword can pierce through to dispel the dragon-form again.

The Cimmerian joins Dane Whitman on the back of his flying horse Galadriel but Sadurang throws Juggernaut at them, knocking BK off. Magik uses her stepping discs again to prevent Dane crashing to the ground. Conan continues the flying ride and chips a chunk off the dragon's chest (with the sword he got from DrS). Juggernaut swings the massive dragon by the tail to land on its back, and Magik stepping-discs into position to plunge her sword into the hole Conan made. It wrecks the magic that sustains the dragon, and their foe is a man again.

But Illyana holds back from killing him because 1 of her best friends is a dragon (Kitty Pryde's pet/friend Lockheed). Sadurang says he'd welcome being sent to Valhalla for the peace. Maintaining his dragon form uses much energy and he needed to restore his chi. He only came to Earth for a long sleep but people won't leave him alone.

Magik then comes up with a plan and takes them all to Limbo. She tells Sadurang he can sleep here in peace for as long as he likes. In gratitude he gives her the amulet they came for, but will come for it when he awakens again. Illyana promises to fetch him back from Limbo when he's ready - all he has to do is say her name 3 times. (Somehow I think she's lying.)

She takes her 3 companions back to Greenwich Village, New York and invites them into DrS's Sanctum. Cain Marko declines and Dane Whitman just flies away. Conan and Illyana enter the house and hand the Eye over to Stephen Strange, who tells them that the other team successfully destroyed Kulan Gath's drug operation which was allowing him to gradually devour the demon-god Shuma-Gorath. He offers the Eye Of Power to Conan for the eventual battle against KG, but the Barbarian turns it down. He doesn't like sorcery, and neither does his god Crom. So the Sorcerer Supreme puts it away for later.

Conan leaves to celebrate in a bar, and he chooses the villains' hangout the Bar With No Name. (And Juggernaut is there too.)
