Bruce Banner and Betty Ross fall to their death (from the Bi-Beast’s sky-platform, destroyed in the last issue), but Bruce turns into the Hulk just in time to land safely.

Stranded on a deserted island, Hulk takes care of a feverish Betty, but the isle is actually the secret home of giant extraterrestrial monsters. Hulk meets and battles two of them, and keeps the unconscious Betty out of harm in a cave.

Ignoring about the monster’s existence, and fearing the Hulk’s presence, Betty escapes one night from the cave, only to be captured by three of the alien monsters.

When Hulk realizes she’s in danger, he follows her and the monsters to the inside of a volcano, unclear if they want to burn her as a human sacrifice. Hulk fights and defeats the giants who perish in the lava.

As Hulk brings Betty to the beach, they spot a rescue helicopter from the US Forces which was looking for Betty. Acting smarter than usual, Hulk asks Betty to contact them and fly off to safety, which she does. Unbeknownst to the soldiers, Hulk hides in the back of the chopper for his free ride.
