Several
Skinwalkers explore the deepest caverns beneath Las Vegas, taking with them a
nervous one called David. They kick David into a pit as an offering, summoning
Varcolac, ancient father of the Wolf Lords, who feeds on David, as they ask him
to return the kin of Lycana and exact vengeance on their enemies….
A peaceful Hulk
sits in the forest, soon joined by Charlie Tidwell who is testing out her
newfound superpowers, granted by her possession of the Godskin of Lycana. They
find a dilapidated oil pump and Charlie, emulating Hulk, smashes it and Hulk
joins in. They growl together. But a voice in Hulk’s head tells him that she
will have to pay for that power and it will be Hulk’s fault. When Charlie looks
for him, he’s gone….
Charlie
continues to growl and leap—until she feels the craving for blood overwhelming
her. A mystery figure, calling himself Jack, emerges from the woods telling her
that Lycana’s pack is bound to Las Vegas and she should get back there. She denies
being one of them but he can smell a Skinwalker, demonstrating his expertise by
transforming into Werewolf by Night. She grins and does her own transformation
into the winged werewolf, peeling off Charlie’s skin. Jack realizes she is
wearing Lycana’s skin, warning her that her vessels are granted one cycle of
the moon to do as they please and then the others come for them. She attacks….
Hulk, tramping
through the woods, is stopped by a weird fellow with long pointy ears and long
pointed fangs. The guy wants to know what Hulk is doing out there; Hulk
replies, “Leaving.” The guy asks what Hulk would do facing a bigger monster;
Hulk crushes the guy’s car, saying, “Make it small.” The guy wants Lycana’s
Godskin. Hulk decides he has warned the guy enough, then the guy attacks and
Hulk smashes him into the ground. But he rises from a flaming pit, in a giant
wolf form, revealing he is Varcolac, Father of the Wolf Lords…and he wants Hulk’s
blood….
