Warlock and the Infinity Watch #7 Synopsis by

Adam Warlock is dreaming his way through a semi-Ditko dimension trying to find his way back to Soul World (where he had found peace before being brought back to reality to face the reborn Thanos). He asks for help from a hooded figure who turns out to be his evil side the Magus who says all he has to do is surrender everything. And then he wakes up ...
... on an island on Earth with Gamora. She reminds him of the previous 2 issues where he rescued her and the rest (so far revealed) of the Infinity Watch from the Man-Beast. They teleported back to Earth and found themselves here, but he passed out. The memories return to him but he also recalls losing his cape in the battle - so how come he's still got it. Gamora thinks maybe Moondragon created it for him with her newly-enhanced psychic powers (after all she created a spaceship a couple of issues ago). Adam is dubious, and he also notices a web-toed footprint in the sand. She also informs him that the others have gone exploring.
Heather Douglas, the Titanian priestess Moondragon and now guardian of the Mind Gem on her brow, sees Drax The Destroyer approach (he's swallowed the Power Gem). She knows that he was once her father Art Douglas, killed by Thanos and resurrected by Kronos to be Thanos' nemesis. Later she killed Drax and Kronos resurrected him again, but this time his damaged brain doesn't remember her or thankfully that she killed him. She dreads his memory returning but can't help poking at it like a sore, provoking confused anger. He picks up a large rock and she thinks he's going to throw it at her. But instead he uses it to play skip-rock on the ocean. And neither of them notice they're standing in a very large footprint. Heather turns away and Drax is grabbed by a huge fist.
Gamora tells Adam that Moondragon has determined they are in the Bermuda Triangle and that the island is inhabited by nothing more than animals. Then they hear a roar and Warlock flies them towards the source. (And somehow he's also now got his Karmic Staff which he also mislaid last issue.) On the way she bets that Pip The Troll has got into trouble but Adam thinks it'll be Drax. He wins as they see Drax and Moonie surrounded by a gaggle of huge monsters, who back off when they arrive. And in the distance they see a castle-like tower. They make their way there by flight or leaps, and Heather detects a human mind amidst multiple unhuman ones. They enter and find Pip dead drunk at a table.
Then they are greeted by Mole Man and a bunch of Moloids. Moonie deduces they're on Monster Island. Gamora just attacks the troops, followed by Drax, until she decides they're not worth fighting. Mole Man admits to luring them here but only because he wants to become their ally. He provides them with a meal and says he's heard about them having the Infinity Gems and would like to have their power on his side. Moondragon, as the only 1 au fait with Earthly matters, describes him as a minor foe of the Fantastic Four and Avengers. Harvey Elder protests that he's the ruler of Subterranea, larger than the US. Heather adds that it's full of the Moloids and he also runs this island full of monsters. (She doesn't mention that there are rival underground rulers Kala and Tyrannus.)
Moley takes Adam and Gamora for a walk. He claims that the Island (or maybe Subterranea) is recognised by the UN (or maybe he's lying) and he offers it as a base for the Watch where the monsters and Moloids could help fight off would-be possessors of the Infinity Gauntlet. And in dire circumstances they can retreat into the myriad tunnels of Subterranea. In return the Watch can help protect his realm from invaders. And he swears he won't ask them to help him invade the surface world - he's given up on such things.
Back inside Adam puts it to a vote. Pip is in as long as they keep him supplied with wine. Moondragon doesn't care. Gamora is agin it. Drax is confused. So it's up to Warlock to decide and he guardedly accepts. But 1st there's the problem of an intruder ...
... Thanos. Drax *does* remember he's supposed to kill the Mad Titan but Warlock restrains him. And Thanos asks for their help.
