Captain America #413 Review by (December 4, 2016)
Comments: Part three of three parts, leading into another four part story. Once again, there are far too many villains in cameos to list.

Review: Another all-action issue is pretty cool as Gruenwald deftly juggles a large cast and makes it all work. And Superia is a lot of laughs (and I hope that is at least partially intentional). More to come.

Synopsis / Summary / Plot

Captain America #413 Synopsis by Peter Silvestro

At A.I.M.'s weapons fair on their private island, Captain America is hip-deep in violent villains, trying his best not to be overwhelmed and killed....

Elsewhere on the island, Diamondback has confronted her enemy Snapdragon and is ready to take her apart; the battle takes them into the courtyard fountain....

Having just killed A.I.M.'s CEO Brannex, Superia confronts MODAM, ready to avenge his death despite having once been allied with Superia and her schemes. The two fight, and MODAM subdues the interloper....

Shang-Chi discovers that Falcon is an Avenger just as Falcon receives a signal for help from Cap. He swoops down and snatches Cap out of the arena, depositing him with Shang-Chi and the trio of heroes takes on the swiftest of the pursuers....

A bound Superia is presented to Brannex, alive and well and revealed to be an Adaptoid. Brannex orders MODAM to dispose of the interloper. MODAM flies off, blasting Blackbird on the way. Cap spies MODAM and, with the possibility that the limp figure she is carrying is Diamond, sets out in pursuit in a stolen A.I.M. patrol craft. Cap attacks MODAM in the air, destroying the jewel that focuses her power. Superia plunges into the ocean and Cap is forced to dive to her rescue....

Meanwhile, Diamondback has left Snapdragon floating face down in the fountain....
