This story shows the beginning of how Bruce Banner and the Red Hulk came to an agreement on working with each other. Red Hulk insists that Betty Ross is now alive (which is true). They now becoming an alliance. Red Hulk has also told his identity to Bruce and how he became the Red Hulk. During this story Bruce and Rulk set up a plan to invade what use to be Tony Stark's hellicarrier to recover Behemoth capable of interfering with satellites. Once Rulk makes it inside he is attacked by a series of enemies including the Gamadroid, M.O.D.O.K., Cosmic Hulk, and Doc Sampson. Soon after the fight the Fantastic Four, Avengers and the X-Men show up scouting out the carrier. Soon Sampson defeats Rulk and stores him in a glass tube. Out of nowhere Deadpool comes out of the bag Rulk was carrying during the trip. Deadpool is late and Doc Sampson completes his plans by using the Cathexis Ray to take energy from Rulk and transfer it to A.I.M. volunteers, A.I. Marines, and super heroes (including the X-Men, the Avengers, etc). It concludes with the Hulked-Out Avengers, Fantastic Four, and X-men about to fight Rulk. This story leads to the "World War Hulks" saga.
