Synopsis / Summary / Plot

Incredible Hulk #328 Synopsis by David Boeren
Bruce is alone in the desert trying to come to terms with himself. Driving back to base, he swerves to miss an old man sitting in the road and wrecks his jeep. The old man claims to be waiting for a killer he hired so he could die on his own terms. The killer is an apparent super villain named Fragment, who confronts and belittles Banner for being a hypocritical weakling. Bruce becomes the Grey Hulk to fight Fragment, and eventually defeats him. In the end, he realizes that the old man and Fragment were creations of his own psyche, just a manifestation of his own inner conflict.
