Synopsis / Summary / Plot

Incredible Hulk #467 Synopsis by Julio Molina-Muscara
writer by the name of Peter (David) interviews Rick Jones in the 10th anniversary of Betty Banner's death (caused by gamma poisoning). Rick starts following the moment of the loss: Bruce, feeling guilty, tries to suicide for the first time. His father in law Thunderbolt Ross locks him in the base with tranquilizer guns pointing at him. Ross feared an angry Hulk's rampage. When Rick shows up, Bruce turns into the Hulk and escapes. The paralized young man saw in his giant friend's eyes something shocking: envy. Hulk relationship towards him was never the same. Bruce kept trying to kill himself but he was always saved by the Hulk. Later, Rick mentions his divorce with Marlo, the love relationship between the Hulk and Cary St. Lawrence, Janis' death caused by the Abomination and Thunderbolt Ross' death. He also reveals that all what happened could belong to another time line. Finally, after hugging his little daughter Betty, Jones confesses his secret love for Betty Banner and salutes the writer good bye. Epilogue: Betty's body lies intact in a secret complex. His father Ross promisses to kill her killer Bruce Banner.
