Incredible Hulk #466 Synopsis by Julio Molina-Muscara
Hulk takes Betty Ross to the intensive therapy room where the specialists of Area 102 do the impossible to save her life. Discovering his daughter's state, Thunderbolt Ross faces the giant and tries convincing him to let Bruce "out", the only one capable of curing her. Doc Samson is who talks him to it. Modifying gamma ray machines, Bruce extracts the lethal radiation from the body of his wife. But Betty's human condition is far from able to withstand the strain and ceases to exist. Father and husband's tears become the last goodbye to the one person in their lives. Ironically, her friend Marlo Jones, after finishing reading Betty's biography book, considers her the luckiest woman in the world. Special guests: Rick Jones; in "dreams" Bruce Banner Jr. and Mrs. Ross.
