Story continues from TOTALLY AWESOME
HULK #21.
Amadeus Cho and his team (Old Man Logan,
Lady Deathstrike, Sabretooth, Domino, Warpath) arrive at the front gate
of the Weapon X facility in Serenity Hills, Texas, and threaten the guard not
to alert anyone. They crash through the main entrance, take out the guards and
drop into the shaft down to the main labs. Hulk reminds them that their
objectives are to 1) destroy the cyborgs, 2) capture Stryker and his
scientists, 3) rescue Bobby Andrews and any other recruits. They are met by
mindless cyborgs, so Hulk gives the okay to slaughter them but a pair of female
ones prove very hard to kill—they have been augmented with Domino’s luck
factor, and she is the one to bypass this and destroy them….
William Stryker gives the order for
Dr. Alba to release H-Beta and H-Alpha but they are minutes away from
completion and Alba decline to unleash them early, despite Stryker’s angry
orders….
Hulk detects Bobby’s location (he’s
H-Beta) and the team crashes down into the main lab where some blobby Hulk
variations attack, with one absorbing Domino into its body. While Hulk and
Warpath fight these monsters, Logan, Lady D, and Sabretooth find Stryker and
take on his guards. When the monsters are defeated and Domino is freed, Hulk
learns that Stryker’s guards are ordinary humans and hurries to stop Logan and
his group from killing them. Hulk manages to block them from tearing into
Stryker so that the bad guys gets away. Meanwhile, Warpath and Domino reach Vat
H just in time for Dr. Alba to release the finished H-Beta….
