Black Panther visits Delroy at the police station, revealing
his identity, mentioning the consequences of Delroy’s actions, and warning him
against violence. T’Challa then receives an Avengers Priority Alert….
Hawkeye and Jarvis watch from the doorway of Avengers Mansion
as Vision battles the Super-Adaptoid in the sky above Manhattan. The villain
fires an explosive arrow which passes harmlessly through Vision but hits a
building spilling rubble toward the crowd below. Vision swoops down and
vaporizes it before anyone is hurt. The Super-Adaptoid taunts Vision for his
compassion as they fight and then Black Panther and Hawkeye arrive on the scene
to join the battle. After some more scuffling and explosive arrows, Vision delivers
the final blow that knocks the baddie out of the sky and the crowd cheers. A
SHIELD helicopter arrives, bearing Hank Pym and Janet/Wasp; Jasper Sitwell demands
to know what they think they were doing. Vision answers: "We’re doing our job.”
Later Luke Charles is telling the kids about the Rwandan
genocide and assures his colleagues that his resolve to change the kids’ lives
is stronger than ever….
Hawkeye meets with Black Widow and they realize their lives
are at different points and so they decide to part amicably. Hawkeye then
hurries to the meeting room where the Avengers, including Captain America and
Iron Man, are listening to Nick Fury on the big screen. Fury is telling them
the capture of the Super-Adaptoid almost makes up for the disaster of a wedding
but ends up praising them. Cap congratulates Vision, Panther, and Hawkeye for
their recent performances; Hank mentions a leave of absence; Vision knows that
he serves a noble purpose; Iron Man says the dream lives on….
