In the small town of Adamsville, Ohio, the sinister Selene is
running a church program that is actually a means of gathering more souls for
her to feed on….
Captain America and the Falcon, along with Sharon Carter and
Toni Ho, are watching news coverage of Selene’s program, endorsed by the government,
supposedly offering help and support to men whose lives are wracked with
despair. But the immediate concern is Sharon: Selene had stolen part of her
soul (issues #4-5) and is keeping it around her neck in a pendant known as “the
blood marine.” The team is now plotting how to recover it….
