Synopsis
Conan and Punisher are trekking through Antarctica from the Savage Land. Which isn't *quite* as bad as it sounds because the Savage Land is in the Antarctic Peninsular reaching out towards the tip of South America and that's hopefully the direction they're heading in. But on the other hand they *are* dragging the 3 coffins containing Frank Castle's long-dead family.
And as we join them they're not even in snow and ice because they're still inside the Land wading along a small river in a jungle with the coffins on a raft. And of course that means they still get attacked by prehistoric beasts which they kill with sword and machine gun. At 1 point Punisher gets injured and Conan picks up the gun to continue the fight until it runs out of bullets and he uses it as a club. And on the plus side the dead animals provide meat and their skins provide extra clothing for when the pair *do* get out into the snow and ice, and some bone swords for Castle to use.
Out on the ice penguins provide meat, but they still have to fight off a large white wolf (which the Marvel Fandom Wiki suggests is an Asgardian Dire Wolf, maybe left over from the War Of The Realms). Conan was known for his 'gigantic melancholies and gigantic mirth' and he was born in the snowy land of Cimmeria. But here he sinks into 1 of his melancholies, until Frank sees a plane heading in to land and they follow it to the Halley Research Station. (Which means they've actually been travelling *away* from South America, as the map at the back of the issue shows.)
Frank Castle has money to buy them passage on a freighter, and food and alcohol to pass the time. The ship takes them to Montevideo, Uruguay. But it turns out the captain of the ship is working for someone who paid for the ship to *go* to the Antarctic to pick them up, and for another ship that will supposedly take them to the US.
However Conan elects to stay in Uruguay, the 3rd Eye Of Agamotto he stole from Kulan Gath in the 1st story arc his only asset. Then he meets a mounted policeman who demands to see the passport of this sword-bearing barbarian. And soon Conan has another asset, the horse he rides off on.
Someone referring to himself as 'this unit' reports that Castle is on the ship and he will follow the unknown character (Conan). He also says that there's no sign of the wizard (Dr Voodoo), the mutant (Wolverine) or Elektra. He doesn't seem interested in the Venom symbiote. (All these of course parted company with our duo last issue.) Over the page we see the speaker is a Doombot and he's preparing for Conan's rendition, presumably to Latveria.
