Description:
First volume from the team that is not a team. Original members were Doctor Strange, Namor the Sub-Mariner and the Incredible Hulk, with the addition of the Silver Surfer soon after. Yet many other super heroes were in and out of this team. With issue #125, the title changes to THE NEW DEFENDERS with a new lineup.
