Synopsis / Summary / Plot

Captain America #49 Synopsis by Julio Molina-Muscara
Sharon Carter lives in Virginia near the  Larkmoore Clinic for the elderly where her aunt Peggy, who dated Captain America in the 40s, is institutionalized. After having a nightmare that reminded her that she killed Steve Rogers, Sharon visited her aunt, a cute old lady who seems to have lost all recent memories.

Sharon later finds David Cox, an old friend who reveals his feelings for her. After a kiss, they agree to remain as just friends.

When the Falcon arrives at Sharon's after an unsuccessful search for "Bad" Cap (the Captain America from the 50s), Sharon is in tears: she had deduced that she was pregnant from Steve Rogers. Sam tells her what he knows, and she remembers the rest.

Meanwhile, Bad Cap visits aunt Peggy to get valuable information; the old lady believes to be chatting with the real Rogers.

Finally, Sharon has a dream where the Red Skull and Zola have her tied in front of a table from where a being made of light comes out.
